This is a full-time or part-time on-site role for an FF&E Purchaser located at our interior design studio based in Ashford, Kent. As an FF&E Purchaser, you'll work collaboratively with a talented team that delivers exceptional, bespoke interiors.
As an FF&E Purchaser, you will work on multiple projects simultaneously, from initial costing to project completion, collaborating with the design team to prepare full FF&E cost estimates and managing procurement documentation.
Responsibilities include:
1. Working on multiple projects simultaneously, from initial costing to project completion.
2. Working with the design team to prepare full FF&E cost estimates.
3. Assisting the team with tendering and analyzing bespoke specification packages to select the most suitable suppliers.
4. Obtaining and negotiating quotations/proformas/invoices.
5. Raising and monitoring purchase orders and payments in line with project requirements.
6. Reviewing delivery notes and condition reports to ensure all information is accurate.
7. Cross-referencing inventories to ensure all items are where they are supposed to be.
8. Resolving any discrepancies with suppliers in a timely manner, including logistics and financial issues.
9. Understanding and proactively working to project programmes to ensure seamless execution.
10. Monitoring delivery schedules and installation programmes in coordination with our warehouse and logistics team.
11. Ensuring all necessary documentation is up to date and filed correctly throughout the course of a project and working with the finance department to reconcile project accounts.
12. Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing suppliers.
13. Working both independently and as part of a team.

Please note that if you would like to work part-time, you would be expected to work a minimum of 20-30 hours over 4/5 days (e.g., 5 hours over 4 days a week or 6 hours over 5 days a week).
