Full Stack .NET Developer
Location: Reading (Office-based with the option to work from home 1 day a week)
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and talented Full Stack .NET Developer to join our innovative and fast-paced team. In this role, you'll be developing cutting-edge web applications using the latest technologies from the Microsoft stack, including .NET Core and Flutter. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to other exciting projects that align with our mission.
As a Full Stack .NET Developer, you'll need a deep understanding of software engineering principles, paired with hands-on experience in the development process—from design and implementation to debugging and maintenance. Your role will also involve building intuitive user interfaces and solving complex problems to deliver outstanding user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop features and functionalities for our main web platform, following direction from the Lead Developer or Head of Development.
* Contribute to the development of our Android/iOS app.
* Share ideas for platform and app enhancements.
* Commit code using GIT, ensuring well-structured source control.
* Document code and create release notes as needed.
* Actively participate in daily stand-ups.
* Support users by addressing queries and troubleshooting issues.
* Provide basic training on the functionality you've developed.
Essential Skills & Experience
* At least 3 years' experience as a Software Developer.
* A creative, motivated developer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
* Strong knowledge of the Microsoft .NET Framework and other Microsoft technologies, with a focus on building responsive, data-driven web applications and mobile apps.
* Proven experience throughout the full software/web development lifecycle, including API development, integration, and mobile app projects.
* Hands-on experience with technologies such as:
* .NET, C#, MVC, WebAPI, Entity Framework, LINQ
* Angular, JavaScript, JQuery
* SQL Server, NoSQL databases
* Azure or Google Cloud Platform
* Visual Studio 2017+ and GIT
* Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies.
* Experience working in an Agile, collaborative team environment.
