Personal Assistant required for a happy and lively 8-year-old girl who lives in Liskeard.
She has Epilepsy and a genetic disorder, and she would like someone who she can build up a positive relationship with and provide her with some 1:1 support.
She would like someone to support her with social skills and independence. She loves swimming and arts and crafts.
A personal assistant will enable her to enjoy activities in her local community and with her family.
Rate of pay £12 per hour.
Up to 4 hours per week are available, although this is very flexible.
Some weekend and school holiday availability will be required.
Car driver preferred but not essential.
Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is preferred.
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family, and not be employed or carry out work for Cornwall Council.
