Revit Design Engineer (Manufacturing) £40,000 (DOE) Permanent Stockport Avid Personnel are thrilled to be EXCLUSIVELY recruiting for a Revit Design Engineer to join their rapidly expanding manufacturing business in Stockport. Recently under a new Board of Directors, this business has extremely exciting growth plans over the next 12 months - this is the perfect time to join their Design Team. As our new skilled and detail-oriented Revit Designer you will be joining their architectural/engineering team. As the ideal candidate you will be proficient in Autodesk Revit and responsible for developing and producing accurate, high quality 3D models and construction documents. You’ll work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to support project development from concept through construction. You Key Responsibilities: Create and manage detailed Revit models for a variety of sectors, including education / emergency services / leisure. Develop construction documents, floor plans, sections, elevations, and details using Revit. Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure model integrity and clash detection. Maintain BIM standards and project templates. Assist with design development, presentation graphics, and renderings as needed. Collaborate in project meetings and contribute to design discussions. Support QA/QC efforts through model reviews and documentation checks. Oversee external Revit designers / freelancers, ensuring schedules and modelling accuracy. Maintain and improve interior Revit family libraries and templates. Your Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting, or related field 3 years of professional experience with Autodesk Revit (Architecture, MEP, or Structure) Strong understanding of BIM principles and construction documentation Proficiency with other design tools and software is a plus (solidworks, viewpoint) Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Preferred Skills Experience with BIM 360 or Revit cloud collaboration. Knowledge of construction project workflows and approval processes. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. BIM principles and level 2 requirements.
