Do you want to work for a charity that is on a mission to end homelessness? \n\nAn organisation that puts young people at the heart of everything they do.\n\nHow about managing a team in Cardiff as an interim Projects Manager.\n\nWe are working with such a charity, assisting in their quest to find a manager for a short contract (likely a month, but could go on for longer).\n\nPLEASE NOTE THIS IS SHORT TERM INTERIM ROLE\n\nYOU WILL NEED ACCESS TO A VEHICLE\n\nA LIVE DBS ON THE UPDATE SERVICE IS REQUIRED TO START QUICKLY (Enhanced - Children and Adult Workforce)\n\nThe important stuff...\n\nThere is an on-call element to this role - You would occasionally cover the on-call phone, answering questions and providing advice.\n\nIn the event of an incident or emergency, attendance to the project may be required.\n\nYou may need provide shift cover if a member of your team is unavailable (due to leave or sickness etc.)\n\nBase Salary: £28,116 + £94 on-call payments\nExtra shift cover if required: £12.69 per hour + £166.55 for sleep-ins (if completed)\nHours: Full time - 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday) 9.30 am to 5pm\nHolidays: 25 days (plus bank holidays) = 33 total\nLocation: Cardiff Area \n\nWhat will you do? \n\nManage a team of Youth Support Workers and Support Assistants.\nMonitor service performance of project and report to Senior Management.
\nGet involved with the front-line support of the young people. \nEnsure all spending is in line with the project budget. \nRepresent the charity at multi-agency meetings and events.\nEnsure the safety and wellbeing of staff and the young people is a top priority.
\n\nWhat do we need? \n\nA strong and compassionate manager, who wants to make a positive impact on the world. \nSomeone who has worked with and supported young people or other vulnerable individuals.
