Our client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, confident and reliable person who is committed to exceptional customer service. Someone with excellent interpersonal skills effectively communicating with customers; you will need a good standard of education and will want a position that offers a challenge and the use of initiative.
To fulfil the role of the Customer Service Assistant, you will have excellent communication skills and experience of dealing with customers on a face-to-face basis. You will also provide an efficient cashiering service to our customers. Whilst customer service experience would be preferred, it is not essential as training will be provided to the successful candidate. You will be expected to collaborate and support your colleagues across a broad range of tasks within the team.
Responsibilities:
1. Communicate in clear, effective simple language to ensure effective communication is maintained with customers and team.
2. Deepen customer relationships by providing products and services to customers that meet their current and future needs.
3. Maintain a focus on supporting the company brand, demonstrating the company's values and behaviours at all times and lead by example.
4. Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the company's regulatory requirements and codes of practice.
5. Adhere to all branch operational procedures and ensure cash handling procedures are correctly followed at all times.
6. Identify customer complaints and promptly forward the information to the relevant Complaint Handler.
