We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Management Accountant to help strengthen our growing finance team based in Chipping Norton. This role requires a candidate who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and deliver financial reports in a timely manner. Description The Management Accountant will be responsible for a wide range of duties including: Prepare the monthly management accounts to the final review point, investigate variances and provide explanations. This role will perform all Journal preparation and posting for the accounts. Maintain Fixed Asset Register, ensure adherence to company fixed asset polices. Complete and maintain Balance sheet reconciliations not maintained by banking and cash team Review Purchase ledger and Sales ledger reconciliations, query and investigate anomalies with those teams where required. Complete Cost analysis and reconciliation to cost trackers Review and manage the credit control function. Support the business P&L owners to understand their accounts and any variances. Ad hoc business analysis to assist where required Complete Payroll analysis and reconciliation and reporting to aid preparation of financial postings Compile and complete the company Quarterly VAT returns Profile A successful Management Accountant should have: Experience of working in similar roles in a finance team Strong Excel skills and experience of working with various accounting ledger packages Part-Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with strong academic record Great communication skills: both written and verbal Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. The ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively at all levels. Job Offer A competitive salary, ranging from £38,000 to £42,000.
