Job Title: English and Maths KS3 Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Tiptree Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Deliver engaging and effective English and Maths lessons to KS3 students Provide individualised support to students to help them achieve academic success Create and implement educational outreach programmes to promote learning outside of the classroom Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure student needs are met Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching English and Maths at KS3 level Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and inspire students Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at KS3 level Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students Effective classroom management skills Proficient in using educational technology Working Conditions: The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis in Tiptree, Essex. The tutor will need to travel to different locations within the East of England for outreach programmes. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
