As we experience significant growth in the manned areas of our Portland site, G3 Systems is excited to offer a great opportunity for a QHSE Specialist to join our team to undertake a number of activities in QHSE and Production to maintain our highest level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Auditing:
o Planning and development to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulation, standards, and G3 Systems process;
o On time delivery (against the audit schedule) of process and product audits to assure safety and compliance are effective and maintained.
Non-Conformance:
o Manage and maintain the register;
o Monitor and hasten closure of NCR’s.
o Assist Management with the effective closure of NCRs including support in ensuring sufficient evidence is provided and that processes have been correctly updated to address the requirements.
• Inspection process adherence and associated support for physical and document sign-off of product at identified stages and final inspection prior to despatch;
• Preparation and production of quality artefacts such as, but not limited to, Certificates of Conformity and documented First Article Inspections;
• Maintain and manage the G3 Systems electronic Legislation Update Service Registers covering:
o Compliance obligations;
o Aspects and Impacts;
o Risks and Opportunities.
IMS documentation:
o Maintenance; review and update.
o Support to Managers and process owners to ensure that IMS documentation is current and applicable to our operations
o Promote continuous improvement and work with Management to support more efficient ways of working
Reporting:
o Monthly / Weekly, in support of QHSE and projects.
• Governance of the G3 Systems Waste Management approach in collaboration with the Production &Facilities Manager and the Head of Business Support
Qualifications/knowledge Required
• Mechanical Engineering HND/HNC or equivalent experience;
• Lead / Internal Auditor – ISO 9001, 45001 & 14001;
• NEBOSH General Certificate in Health and safety;
• NEBOSH Fire Certificate – desirable;
• NEBOSH Environmental Management – desirable;
• ISO 9001, 45001 & 14001 Awareness/Implementation – desirable;
• Risk Assessments.
• Auditing;
• Experience of working in an engineering or manufacturing background (and working with ISO management systems);
• Component / Assembly / Final Product Inspection;
• Microsoft Office use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
• Record & Database Management;
• Report & Presentation preparation.
