We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Butcher/Trimmer for a Production Line Support position to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe Spalding!

The successful candidate will report to the Butchery Manager and be a key member of the Site's on-the-job training of new and existing employees.
Working Hours : Monday to Friday - 06:3am - 16:00pm
Purpose
To ensure that employees are trained using the appropriate techniques in line with and to complete the requirements of CCP, ICPs, SOPs and SSOWs – and to meet Customers' standards and specifications of product.
You will work the departmental management to identify gaps on on-the-job training, and follow and complete any training plans set, and giving feedback to the Training team to ensure that documents and systems are completed correctly.

Key Requirements
Experience at a Butcher on Pork Legs/Shoulders
The ability to motivate and effectively train / demonstrate skills to employees. With this, it is required that the successful candidate can carry out the Grade B role.
Have excellent verbal communication skills.
Have a clear understanding of production quality and efficiency standards and requirements, planning processes and material utilisation.
Have a clear understanding of the company, customer and regulatory food safety, health and safety and animal welfare standards for the area.
