Role: Locum ACT Pharmacy Technician Banding: Band 6 Location: Gloucester Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3 months Rate: £23 - £29 per hour Working hours: Full-time The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Gloucester. This temporary position offers a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. Duties and Responsibilities: You will perform final accuracy checks on dispensed medications. You will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. You will collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care. You will maintain accurate records and documentation. Qualifications and Experience: Experience/Knowledge: NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification. Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician. Act trained. Minimum of 2 years’ post-registration hospital pharmacy experience. Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals. Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
