Faversham House Day Nursery in Whitstable Road, Faversham, is seeking dedicated professionals to work in our new and exciting day nursery. Faversham House has recently undergone full and extensive refurbishment including a beautiful and inspiring outdoor learning environment.
We are seeking patient, empathetic, and energetic professionals from a variety of backgrounds to help us continually develop and evolve our practice and who are excited about the prospect of working in a new nursery.
Minimum Requirements:
* A full and relevant qualification at minimum level 2 or 3.
* A clear knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures.
* A commitment to work in a non-judgmental way recognising everyone’s right to equality of opportunity.
* A clear understanding of the needs of under-fives and an ability to meet them to a high degree.
* A sound knowledge of the EYFS and an ability to observe and record children’s progress and provide activities to support their development.
* The imagination to create a dynamic and challenging environment.
* An ability to build professional supportive and trusting relationships with parents and carers.
* An ability to manage a small group of children in a calm and effective manner.
* Must be able to communicate effectively with good quality written and verbal communication skills.
* Must have an ability to recognise and appreciate the skills and abilities of other members of the team.
* A willingness to help maintain a happy, safe, and supportive working environment for both yourself and the team.
An extra pair of arms, eyes in the back of your head and a good sense of humour would also be a great advantage!!!

Salary:
£7 - £11 per hour
