I am currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer, Principal, and Associate Electrical Building Services Engineer to work for one of the UK's well-known building services companies based in Sheffield. Salary up to £55,000 + Benefits.
This innovative and forward-thinking company are leaders within their field and subsequently employ some of the best engineers within their respective fields. This company is a small to medium-sized business providing specialist designs to large commercial buildings in a variety of sectors. This business is going from strength to strength and as a result, their numbers are increasing year on year as they continue to cope with market demand for their services.
To deliver high standard design work to new and exciting projects within the UK which will push boundaries within the building services domain, this company is now in a position where they need to hire an additional Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer.
In this role, you will liaise with both new and existing clients to gather specifications for designs and assist with meeting the design requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Load calculations
2. System design
3. Power distribution design
4. Lighting design
5. Fire alarm and security system design
The work will primarily focus on front-end stages (Stages 1, 2, and 3), with only a small portion extending into Stage 4.
Ideal Requirements:
1. Minimum of 2 Years UK Industry Experience
2. Experienced Using AMTECH, ETAP, DIALux or RELUX
3. Experienced with British Standards
4. Experience with stages 1, 2 & 3
Advantageous Requirements:
1. Experience in an M&E Consultancy
2. Understanding of Switchgear Arrangements
