Product Coach Role | Public Sector | 3 Month Contract

Please note: To be considered for this role, your current / most recent contract must be a public sector engagement.
We’re looking to hire a Product Coach for a leading digital consultancy, to work on a Public Sector project.
Our client ensures that public services are holistic and futureproofed, so they can ultimately meet the needs of those who use them.
The successful candidate will hold the following responsibilities:
* Roadmap Maintenance: Support Product Managers in maintaining Now, Next, Later (NNL) roadmaps, ensuring regular updates reflect progress against OKRs and product strategies, with consistent communication to SLT.
* Backlog Management: Guide teams in refining and prioritizing backlogs, ensuring ticket statuses accurately represent committed work for realistic planning.
* Workflow Efficiency: Establish triage processes and streamline incoming work into prioritized backlogs via the front-door process, aligning with product goals.
* Metrics-Driven Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous feedback by using product metrics to prioritize work, drive incremental improvements, and link delivery to measurable impacts.
* Analytics Utilization: Leverage product analytics to plan future increments, accelerate value delivery, and ensure alignment with product goals.
* Goal Tracking & Reporting: Ensure all products have clearly defined goals and metrics, regularly tracked and reported to SLT to demonstrate progress and impact.
* Strategic Alignment: Ensure transparent alignment between product goals and the division’s overarching strategy, making connections and next steps explicit.
* Standardized Processes: Collaborate with Agile Coaches and Delivery Managers to define and adopt standards like Definitions of Ready and Done, reducing lead time and enhancing delivery speed.
* Vision & Strategy Updates: Collaborate with Product Leads to update product visions, missions, and strategies, ensuring alignment with departmental and divisional priorities.
* State & Value Assessments: Conduct detailed assessments of products to evaluate their current state, delivered value, and opportunities for improvement, aligning outcomes with stakeholder needs and objectives.
To be considered for this role, you will need recent experience working in government, a track record of success as a Product Coach / Product Manager, and you must have previous exposure to everything listed above, which can be supported with examples at interview stage.
