A Sales and Marketing Coordinator plays a crucial role; fully supporting from administrative and sale lead development perspectives, the Sales team to develop future and repeat business. The role is also responsible for the marketing and e-commerce function at Hilton London Kensington; managing content on all online channels – brand and 3rd party. Ensuring that content is accurate, up to date, appropriate for the market aimed at driving business and conversion; the effective and efficient use of e-marketing, traditional marketing that directly support the commercial objectives of the hotels, as well as managing our social media profiles driving engagement and increasing followers.
Responsibilities:
* Create organic and engaging content across our social media platforms; namely Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
* Support with designing creative materials for Internal & External Communications
* Support hotel and regional marketing teams for our Hotel
* Understand fully the hotel amenities, packages and promotions
* Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Director and senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads
* Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds
* Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities in order to maximise revenue
* Attend essential sales training meetings and develop an understanding of all the company's services and products
* Establish active communication and engagement with sales representatives to ensure that orders are processed promptly
* This position reports to the Commercial Director and supports the delivery of the commercial targets and budget.
Qualities for success:
* College degree in Hotel Management/Business and/or experience of working in a similar marketing position in the hospitality sector
* Strong communication skills in all areas of writing, listening and speaking English.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, project and time management
* Professional approach, clean and well-groomed at all times
* Honesty, integrity and a passion for hard work
* Creatively minded
* Demonstrated self-starter with excellent attention to detail
* Resourcefulness, customer focused and results oriented
* Enjoys working collaboratively, key team player with a “can do” attitude and thrives on a challenge

* Must be able to assist in all sales and marketing campaigns as needed, particularly through presentations and site inspections

* Previous experience of working in a marketing role or another commercial role in the hotel industry
