We have 5 Community Support Worker Vacancies based at the Knutsford Supported Living Network.
The Knutsford Supported Living Network provides person-centred care & support to tenants with learning disabilities who are living in their own homes.
5 Community Support Worker posts are available. Staff are required to be part of a rota comprised of late shifts and early shifts. The rota includes alternate weekend work with full shifts at weekends.
Support is provided 24/7 and is focused on enabling each individual to maximise their independence, choice & control. The support provided comprises assisting tenants with all aspects of daily living, including:
1. Household management (e.g., cleaning tasks)
2. Weekly food shopping
3. Preparation of meals
4. Managing finances/budgeting
5. Understanding the requirements of maintaining a tenancy agreement
6. Accessing community services (e.g., adult learning, day care, job/career opportunities)
In addition, care is provided to tenants in accordance with assessed needs, as reflected within individual tenants' care & support plans. This may include assistance with:
1. Personal care
2. Health & wellbeing
3. Administration of medication
4. Accessing community services (e.g., GP, hospital appointments)
Experience of working within the care sector is desirable; however, if you possess the necessary qualities required for this role and have a caring, friendly, and positive approach, we welcome your application. Induction & training will be provided to successful applicants.
