About the Role
We’re looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager (BMD) to join our team. You’ll be responsible for growing sales, building relationships, and identifying new opportunities within the marine sector. The role involves regular travel across the UK and beyond, so a willingness to be on the move is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and expand our client base within the marine industry
* Build strong relationships with boat builders, chandlers, and marine engineers
* Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth
* Provide expert advice on our technical marine products
* Represent the company at boat shows, trade events, and customer meetings
What We’re Looking For:
* A passion for the marine industry – ideally with experience in sailing, boating, or water sports
* Proven track record in business development and sales within a technical or marine sector
* Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and internationally
* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
