56885 | Underwriting | Entry Level | Non-Executive | Allianz UK | Full-Time | Permanent Role Description This is an exciting opportunity to join our successful Small Business Team based in our Lancaster office. This opportunity is ideal for either a new entrant or those with experience in the insurance industry who are keen to gain and develop their technical expertise and career. You will play an active role in contributing towards the delivery of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across your team, underwriting business & building strong relationships with both internal & external customers. The quality of our Underwriters is pivotal to Allianz’s success, no risk is the same, so you’ll need to use your strong analytical and communication skills, as well as technical knowledge to influence our brokers and develop strong trading relationships. We offer a great environment to support and nurture personal and technical development, including CII qualifications. You will learn to underwrite Allianz products and develop your underwriting and soft skills over the course of a 10 week induction programme. After this time, your development will continue with further specialist training giving you the authority to handle more complex work and make wider underwriting decisions. This is a hybrid role based in our Lancaster office and after the initial induction period will involve working from home combined with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
