About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom to ensure continuity of learning during teacher absences. This is a fantastic opportunity for those with prior cover supervisor experience who thrive in a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff.
* Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students remain on task.
* Manage classroom behavior effectively, creating a positive learning environment.
* Support students with their learning and address any immediate questions or concerns.
* Liaise with teaching staff and the leadership team to ensure a smooth handover.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar educational support role.
* Confidence in managing classroom behavior and maintaining a calm environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive and adaptable approach to working in various classroom settings.
