What You'll Be Doing
* Take ownership of your designated patch and sites, contributing to area, regional, and unit objectives.
* Execute prioritised tasks, ensuring alignment with team and unit priorities through coordination with patch managers and senior colleagues.
* Conduct health and safety risk assessments.
* Raise issues or risks to senior colleagues to facilitate change.
* Proactively seek opportunities to enhance your skills to support the team.
Skills & Experience Required
Requirements:
* Must be able to fulfil the physical requirements of the role, including bending, stretching, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and working at floor and ceiling levels inside buildings, tower structures, and roadside infrastructure. Must also be able to lift heavy drums/cables and recognise coloured wiring.
* Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
* Must have a safety mindset: Ability to identify hazards and help grow the safety 1st culture within the team.
Skills and experience:
* Self-Starting: Use your initiative to drive actions for yourself and the wider team.
* Ownership: Support in owning and delivering tasks, activities, and resources, understanding priorities across the unit.
* Communication: Communicate clearly and precisely through various methods in any circumstance or location.
* Problem Solving: Deal with a variety of issues and implement effective solutions as required.
* ICT Literacy: Confidently use MS Office suite, especially MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Teamwork: Work well with and support the wider team to understand patch and regional requirements, meeting wider CFU objectives.
