An exciting opportunity has arisen within our market-leading ambitious Company - we supply a large range of sporting events worldwide. We seek a highly motivated Marketing & Digital Media Assistant to join our busy team.
As the Marketing & Digital Media Assistant, you will be required to maintain and update the company website(s) and social media profiles. We need a focused, creative candidate who thrives on a challenge — possessing strong writing and editing skills and a keen eye for detail. This position would suit a recent marketing graduate or a junior marketing professional who is interested in moving into a web/social media role and can work independently. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
* Create written posts for our websites (typical posts include news about our work with charities, events, products, and company news);
* Adding new products/blogs onto the company websites, gathering specification and technical information of the products, and uploading all relevant information using our bespoke eCommerce website.
* Updating products and stock on the company websites.
* Create Marketing Content in liaison with Sales offers and Social Media Campaigns to drive online traffic to the Company's websites.
* Assist with Marketing activities (image/video editing, for example).
* Assist with Product Photography/videography for Marketing purposes.
* Constantly evaluate the website against the business objectives.
* Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to drive online traffic to the Company's website.
* Manage, monitor, and engage with our web content/social media activity.
* Support the preparation and delivery of presentations and website report writing.
* Report to the Marketing Director & Senior Marketing and Digital Media Executive.
Essential Skills
* Excellent written and verbal skills and attention to detail.
* Extensive knowledge of social media platforms.
* Focused, self-motivated and highly organised.
* Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
* Able to work well individually and as part of our team.
* Proofreading and copy editing — of both your own content and other people's.
Desirable Skills
* Experience with WordPress essential.
* Basic understanding of Canva.
* Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator).
* Basic knowledge of Google Analytics to track and report on key metrics.
* Marketing/copy/content writing experience in the e-commerce industry is essential.

Not Remote – office-based.
Salary is based on a 37.5 hours per week.
Normal work hours are Monday –Thursday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm and Friday 8.30 am to 4.30 pm. (We are also open to flexible/part-time hours.)
