Recovery Worker
Service Care Solutions are supporting a reputable non-profit provider and they are currently recruiting for a Recovery Worker. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a crucial role by supporting individuals who are suffering from Drug & Alcohol addiction. The ideal candidate needs to be experienced within the field but also someone who is highly driven and can identify positivity within a service user and have the ability to develop potential within.
You will be responsible for managing a caseload of clients with Substance Misuse issues across Wiltshire. You will engage with adults and families to help support them on their road to recovery. You will work closely with a range of partner agencies to support young people to achieve positive changes while providing opportunities to improve their life chances for a brighter future.
Key role and responsibilities for a Recovery Worker;
1. Build relationships with adults and families.
2. Provide clients and families with advice, information, and help to access practical support.
3. Carry a caseload of clients with Substance Misuse issues.
4. Carry out assessments, care planning, brief and comprehensive interventions.
Minimum requirements for a Recovery Worker;
1. Experience of working within the Substance Misuse field.
2. Ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
3. Experience of community engagement.
4. Experience of delivering group work.
