Working hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (12 months Fixed Term Contract)
Colchester Borough Homes (CBH) is a company set up by Colchester City Council to provide housing management and maintenance services to around 7,000 customers.
About the role:
We are looking for a new Community Housing Officer to join our Tenancy Services Team, on a 12-month fixed term basis. You will manage a patch of around 650 properties providing generic housing services such as rent arrears prevention and recovery, community building, tenancy management and being a focal point and advocate for tenants and leaseholders.
You should have:
Housing management experience
Great communication and negotiation skills
ICT skills
A commitment to delivering the best possible customer service
Decision making skills and resilience
