Join our thriving team at New Rickstones Academy!
New Rickstones Academy is graded ‘Good’ (November 2023) and has a state of the art building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff. Over the last 9 years the academy has seen a huge increase in student numbers, with the number of students on roll more than doubling. The academy is a popular choice in the local area, is oversubscribed, and has added another new building to meet this demand. New Rickstones Academy is a great place to work with a friendly and supportive team. Staff numbers have also increased and the academy is proud to boast high retention rates. Development is a priority with an extensive and successful CPD (Continuing Professional Development) programme to further develop our excellent staff.
We are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join our growing Cover Team. You will be expected to cover classes during both planned and unplanned teacher absences, providing essential support across all subjects, ensuring students' learning progresses uninterrupted.
This position is on a casual, as required basis, throughout the academic year. Working hours are 08:30 - 15:15 and working days are flexible. Full training will be provided for the successful candidate. If you are a graduate or studying for a degree, it presents an exciting opportunity as you will gain experience to potentially develop a career within teaching - a number of our support staff have progressed to our teacher training programme and then into teaching and leadership positions.
