Role: Customer Service Advisor - Personal Lines Insurance - Car, Van, Home, Travel
Location: Winchester
Reports To: The Management Team
Salary: up to £28k plus bonuses
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 08.40 to 5pm - Saturdays 9am till Noon with Rota
Job Summary:
Working in a busy team mainly on the telephone, dealing with volume sales of car and van insurance but other products too including home and travel insurance. Dealing with enquiries and generally providing a Can Do Attitude aiming to impress and please our clients. We work in a busy environment arranging and renewing policies and you will need to be used to working in such a fast pace.

10. Desire to gain full understanding of products and processes and complete CPD (continuous professional Development)
11. Computer skills - Word, Excel
12. Understanding the Data Protection Act
13. Be able to empathise and show a caring attitude
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Selling, advising and arranging personal lines insurance
2. Demonstrating a positive, enthusiastic attitude towards clients and recognising the importance of being a team player
3. Understanding client's needs and requirements and working to impress them with knowledge and helpful attitude
4. Providing client service in line with company policies and internal compliance
5. Understanding the scope of products we deal with representing over 30 different Insurers
6. Being a point of contact for client's needs and dealing with these requirements to successful outcomes
7. To maintain a good level of personal smartness and presentation
8. To actively follow company policies & comply with Data protection
9. Contacting clients for required information, payment and supporting documents to fulfill validation requirements
10. Completing accurate records and computer files, diaries, journals and to the extent others can follow notes and history
11. To attend staff meetings and training as required
12. Following instructions from managers and attending to jobs required
Desirable:
1. Previous experience in the Car Insurance sector
2. Previous experience in Banking, Retail
3. Understanding of cars
4. Call centre experience
5. Ability to problem solve
6. Good understanding of Maths and percentages
