We are recruiting a Facilities Assistant for a 3-month contract based in Yatton, Bristol. The role's primary purpose will be removing, disposing of, and repurposing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Removing obsolete equipment for disposal
* Removal, cleaning and repurposing of equipment to the Severn Beach site
* Cleaning of unoccupied areas
* Carry out the tasks efficiently, being mindful that the building is still used by customers.
* Work at the Severn Beach site when requested
* Carry out any other tasks that may be reasonably requested by the Company.
* All employees will comply with the Company’s health, safety and environmental protection arrangements.
Education/Qualifications:
* Good general level of education. GCSE Qualifications preferred.
Professional Skills/ Abilities:
* Knowledge of the Waste Cycle
* Knowledge of Manual Handling & Hazard Awareness
* Must have the ability to work on own imitative
* Must be able to prioritise own workload
* Fork truck licence but not essential
Personal Qualities:
* Able-bodied (some lifting (<25kgs) involved).
* Able to work in a team.
* Tidy and clean in appearance and work practice.
* Punctuality.
