About the Role
This growing firm is looking to add an Audit Senior to their team. As an Audit Senior, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality audit services to a diverse client base. The position will require office-based work as well as travel to clients’ premises for onsite audits.
Duties & Responsibilities
As an Audit Senior, your main responsibilities will include:
* Leading and planning audit engagements from start to finish, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
* Conducting audits onsite at clients’ premises, developing strong working relationships with clients.
* Reviewing financial statements and identifying any areas of risk or non-compliance.
* Ensuring all audit and accounting standards and regulations are met.
* Preparing and reviewing audit workpapers, ensuring accuracy and thorough documentation.
* Providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, fostering their growth and skill development.
* Communicating audit findings to clients, discussing improvements, and providing recommendations.
* Coordinating with managers and partners to ensure seamless project management and high standards of client service.
* Keeping up to date with industry standards and regulatory requirements, sharing knowledge within the team.
Requirements
Ideal candidates will have:
* A minimum of two years of accountancy practice experience focused in audit.
* Part or full ACCA/ACA qualifications.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
