Job summary We are looking to recruit a committed, enthusiastic and flexible Staff Nurse to join our team at the Urgent Treatment Centre at Burnley General Hospital. You will be required to work at the Minor Injury Unit at Accrington Victoria Hospital and rotate to Royal Blackburn Emergency Department if required. Main duties of the job We are a very busy UTC covering a diverse population. We are looking for a self-motivated nurse who's committed, flexible and approachable. You will care for both adults and children who attend with a range of injuries and illnesses. You will be expected to provide and promote the highest standards of care, with a passion and commitment for managing our patients with the upmost dignity and respect. You need to be a team player with the ability to respond to the demands of a rapidly changing environment. The successful candidate will need to be experienced within an urgent care setting. You will be offered a period of supernumerary time in which you will be supported by a workplace mentor, practice educators, the senior nursing team alongside experienced clinicians.
