Service Assistant x 2 - Wadebridge
Summary
We’re looking for a Service Assistant to join us at Pentireglaze, nr Wadebridge PL27 6QY to help busy teams throughout our visitor operations.
Salary: 12.25
Contract/duration: Starting end of May, finishing September 30th 2025
Hours/working pattern/hours: This role is an hourly paid, fixed term role. Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we’re looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. We’d give you as much notice of this as possible ideally 2 days per week, covering Friday and Saturday or Sunday and Monday

What it's like to work here
Working at the visitor hub at Pentire you’ll be part of a team of 12 working in both the Food & Beverage and the Visitor Welcome teams.
Its an exciting time for us as the visitor hub at Pentire opened in 2021 and we are steadily growing our visitor offer.
You'll be key in providing excellent service for our visitors ensuring that everyone has a fantastic visit to Pentire.
Pentire is part of the North Cornwall property group, which stretches from Holywell (nr Newquay) to Morwenstow (nr Bude). At times there may be opportunity to work extra shifts to cover sickness or holidays.
What you'll be doing
Service Assistants play an important role in supporting various property teams in greeting and helping our visitors. No two days are the same and you can expect to meet lots of different people and help in various visitor areas. You’ll be involved in different tasks. These could include greeting visitors on arrival, promoting the work of the National Trust, assisting with summer family events, clearing tables in the caf, assisting with sales and making drinks. You'll help with cleaning down at the end of the day which may also include some toilet cleaning duties when needed. Most importantly you’ll talk to visitors, answering any questions they have to make sure they can find everything they need for their visit. This role would suit anyone with a passion for delivering great customer service and a keen interest in learning about visitor operations.
