We are looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to work in KS1 in a rural school in the Morpeth/Ashington area with immediate start.
This is a small rural school, with lovely children and friendly staff - their school community is like a family! They require someone to support them and their children.

Person Specification
Minimum Essential Requirements
* Right to work in the UK
* Minimum of 2 references
* Enhanced DBS clearance
Experience/Qualifications
* Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / Level 6 Qualification - Degree
* Experience working in a primary school
Preferred Experience
* Working with children with SEN
* Strong background in Behaviour Management
Duties and Responsibilities
* To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children
* Support the school staff to facilitate the active participation of children in the academic and social activities of a school
* Contribute to raising standards of achievement for all pupils.
* To implement the daily routine
* When directed, plan and implement age-appropriate activities, in conjunction with other staff
* Assisting children in personal/intimate care
* Regularly evaluate children’s development and keep records as appropriate, as directed by the teacher
* Liaise with parents/carers of children, only when directed by a school’s class teacher
* Uphold the Ripple Education ethos and all safeguarding requirements, including ensuring that children are supervised at all times.
* To ensure the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children at each stage of development
