Job Title: Mechanical Fitter (Voith Fitter)
Location: Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire
Duration: Contract (6 months min)
Pay Rate: DOE
Hours: 7am till 5pm Monday to Thursday and 7am till 1pm on a Friday
Note: Own transport recommended due to location.
Our client based in the Burton on Trent area is looking for Mechanical Fitters with Gearbox experience.
The role of the Mechanical Fitter is to build transmission and sub-assemblies to a high standard.
Responsibilities
1. Understanding of vehicle mechanical interfaces and repairs of vehicle components.
2. Able to install and repair.
3. Fault finding and diagnostic investigation work.
4. Mechanical knowledge.
5. Repairing or replacing parts, old and new.
6. Understand and follow drawings.
7. Work to company safety standards.
Subject to a Drugs & Alcohol test.
