We have a 24-hour in-house manufacturing facility in Cheadle, South Manchester and our customers include international retailers, global brands, and media agencies. Our team is looking for a Studio Operator.

Responsibilities include:
1. You should be competent in Adobe Creative Suite and confident in taking an initial brief, designing and creating print ready artwork.
2. Ideally having experience within an FSDU and POS production environment.
3. Pre-flighting artwork supplied from clients.
4. Processing and ripping files to various presses.
5. Managing Colour Profiles using a Barbieri Spectrophotometer.
6. Knowledge of Artioscad preferred but not essential.
7. On PDF approval from the client; locate the artwork, produce colour proof for content and colour, ensuring the colour proof is correct.
8. Utilisation of RIP software to facilitate files to press.
9. Liaising closely with Account Directors and the Commercial team on bespoke large scale projects that require innovative branding solutions.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
1. Good understanding of digital pre-press processes and PDF handling.
2. Experience in Pre-flighting digital files for print.
3. An understanding of colour theory, basic art working principles and a good working knowledge of Prepress software, especially ‘InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop’.
4. Computer literate (competent with either or both Mac and PC). You should have a basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc).
5. Proactive individual with a can-do attitude who can deal with varying demands and personalities.
6. Passionate about providing excellent customer care.
7. Able to multitask and react to changes with positive results.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Be able to handle pressure to meet delivery deadlines.
