About the role
The UK IT Operations department is committed to providing exceptional support and adding value through world class service to our customers across the UK. Acting as the initial point of contact for all IT-related issues, we ensure customer queries are managed and resolved efficiently from start to finish. Our IT Operations team engages with a diverse array of technologies and infrastructures, fostering an environment where problem-solving and collaboration are key to ensuring customer satisfaction.
For this role, you will be required to work onsite full-time as part of a dedicated customer support team, both in central Aberdeen and offshore as needed. BOSIET certification is essential. You will be responsible for supporting both office and remote users, as well as contributing to continuous improvement through process optimisation and documentation.

Who you are?
We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality customer service and can demonstrate a strong work ethic. While the criteria below is ideal, we’re eager to speak with those who share our enthusiasm for IT and customer support.
* Over 2 years of experience working in a ServiceDesk or Desktop Environment
* Valid BOSIET Certification and experience of working offshore
* A genuine passion for IT technologies and customer support
* Strong interpersonal skills – able to listen attentively and provide clear instructions
* Process-driven, with the ability to contribute to, improve, and document processes to enhance daily operations
* A solutions-oriented problem solver
Qualifications:
We believe that our new Senior IT Engineer identifies with the following qualifications:
* Proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken
* Good oral and written presentation skills
* Knowledge and experience with ITIL processes.
* A broad understanding of enterprise IT and User requirements
Beneficial, but not essential:
* Preferably, hold Certifications from i.e., ITIL, Microsoft.
* Familiarity with the following technologies: Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Hybrid Cloud, Office 365 Administration, Cloud services, Windows server, Windows 11, Citrix, RDS, SCCM.

£30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience and fit for the role.
