Science Teacher – September 2024
Science Teacher required to join a large secondary school with outstanding leadership and excellent laboratory facilities. This role requires a Science Teacher who is comfortable teaching all three sciences at Key Stage 3, and their subject specialism up to GCSE. This school has a strong focus on achieving academic success in the core subject areas and the Head of Science is determined to have the best department within the school.
As a Science Teacher at this school, you will have access to a range of resources and facilities. A strong subject knowledge is essential for this role as you will be teaching your subject up to GCSE. The team at this school are friendly and welcoming and will support you in finding your feet. Confident classroom management skills are essential for this role and a good understanding of lab H&S guidelines. This role requires a QTS or QTLS Science Teacher.
Job Role:
1. Teaching across the Biology, Chemistry and Physics curriculum at KS3.
2. Delivering practical sessions in line with H&S guidelines.
3. Working with a dedicated team of Science Teachers to plan lessons.
4. Inspiring a love for science, making lessons engaging and informative.
5. Raising attainment and maintaining outstanding teaching practices.
