The role
To deliver high quality Maintenance /Instruction on specific Military diving equipment in line with Company standards and contractual requirements.
Main duties will include:
1. Continually improve the way they contribute to the business
2. Ensure that they are best equipped to support future change
3. Ensure that they work in an effective collaborative manner with MoD staff, displaying the appropriate behaviours always.
4. Be ‘Responsible for championing and fostering a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and continuous improvement’.
5. Any other duties required to complete the Training Equipment Service.
6. To be responsible for the maintenance of the equipment within their area of responsibility to standard laid down in the Planned Maintenance Schedules (PMS), to record the maintenance carried out, report all defects, material shortcomings and design deficiencies as appropriate.
7. To be responsible for the replacement, issue, storage, return and defect repair on all equipment within their area of responsibility.
8. To instruct maintenance in accordance with relevant Instructional Specifications on their primary subject.
9. To assist Lead Instructor in updating training documentation, related to their primary subject, to reflect equipment maintenance.
10. To instruct courses, iaw ISpec, for which SQEP is held, as directed by Lead Instructor.
11. To gain and maintain both technical and instructional qualification and experience in secondary subjects as directed by Line Management.
12. To gain and maintain instructional & technical SQEP in accordance with company guidelines and policy.
13. To be custodian of Articles in Use account and maintain their account iaw with latest instructions
14. Deliver briefings to staff or trainees as required by Line Management.
15. Ensure that the maintenance of all Team Fisher (DDS) Training Equipment is carried out to enable equipment performance standards to be met and the training programme maintained.
16. Record the implementation of equipment maintenance on existing systems, to ensure performance is maintained in accordance with manufactures technical guidance.
17. To ensure Company health, safety and environmental procedures are always implemented and complied with for all employees and trainees.

Essential:
Should have extensive experience of:
21. Previous experience of servicing mechanical/electrical equipment in a marine and/or military environment.
22. Previous experience of fault finding, diagnosing and repairing mechanical or electrical equipment.
23. Maintenance of Diving Equipment or similar Safety to Life Equipment
Desirable:
Should have some experience of:
24. Level 3Teaching Qualification.
25. ECDL or equivalent demonstratable proficiency in using IT (hardware/software) within the workplace.
