Performance Improvement Lead
Permanent & Fixed Term Contracts (12 months)

About this role
The Performance Improvement Leader will work in partnership with operations and functional teams to deliver key initiatives to improve business performance. You will be a performance partner to operations managers to ensure that any improvements implemented are standardized and sustained within operations teams.
Other key responsibilities include:
* Developing and coaching the cultural change and get to Zero stops & Zero Waste
* Facilitating and leading plant and process problem solving.
* Being a performance partner to shift managers with joint accountability for results of the line (c/o time, OEE losses LS / SS, other stops including material quality)
* Being a functional partner to the shift managers well practiced in the tools and methodologies to apply (e.g. Loss & Waste analysis, RCPS, DMAIC)
* Coaching of intact team on troubleshooting tools
* Providing performance data and driving continuous improvement activities into weekly planning meetings to ensure preventative maintenance plans are robust & align with losses.
* Leading strategic improvement projects using the DMAIC methodology (e.g. 5Why, FT-DMAIC, Yellow Belt, Green Belt etc)
* Leading loss & waste agenda provides data & performance insights and a clear strategy to prioritize improvements.
* Supporting capital expenditure projects – Being the key interface with contractors and project engineering on asset and process improvement projects
* Being accountable for effective Contractor Management on site (Performance, Compliance etc.)
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and ability to communicate to all levels across the plant.
* Experience working in a process environment with evidence to demonstrate ability to develop effective working relationships with partners and cross-functional teams to deliver organizational effectiveness and improved business performance.
* A consistent track record of utilizing manufacturing excellence tools and techniques such as 5S, setup time reduction, lean six sigma, reliability centered maintenance Fastrack DMAIC, AM broad-plan.
* To have or be willing to work towards a NEBOSH and a qualification in Brewing & Distilling qualification however this is not crucial.
* A full clean driving license is crucial for this role.
