An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technician to join the James Watt Nanofabrication Centre on a permanent basis.
In this role, the successful candidate will manage and deliver an in depth, high quality technical and training service in a world class academic cleanroom, including providing specialist technical expertise in nanofabrication and will be responsible for identifying equipment or specification failures. The focus will be on the operations and training of nanofabrication tools as directed by line manager, Director of Operations or the Research Engineer.
In addition, the postholder will mentor junior staff members and act as a source of technical expertise to the wider community.
This post is full time (35 hours per week) and offered on an open ended basis.
