·Pre-track work: may include insole preparing, sewing/machine work, skiving, cutting and closing etc.
·Track work: may include back-moulding/other machine work, heel unit preparing, gluing
·Research, design & development of new products/ranges – will include sampling, sourcing/selecting fabrics etc.
·Support the team in the production of bespoke footwear
·Ad-hoc projects which may include sizing/measurements work, product specifications
·May be tasked with working on shoe costings, material/components stock takes/ordering, material sourcing/ordering
·Other opportunities within the business may also be presented to you as you learn and develop within the business
Skills and Experience Required
·Experience in shoe design/production and studying for a relevant degree
·An interest in fashion/footwear is important, with experience in the industry desirable but not essential
·GCSE’s & A-Levels (or equivalent) are essential, and a degree is desirable
