Supply Chain Project Support - 37.5 hours a week
Role overview
This role will play an integral part in the supply chain team, supporting and liaising with the wider business to improve supply chain operations, help increase efficiency and reduce costs. The successful candidate will have an analytical mind and strong business acumen. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail are vital.
This role will involve coordinating various project activities, ensuring effective communication, and providing administrative and logistical support to ensure project objectives are met efficiently. The Supply Chain Project Support will collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement within the supply chain function. This may involve travelling to other regional offices.

Key tasks
· Gather supply chain data and analyze to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements.
· Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects.
· Oversee Parts database to ensure accuracy of data. Liaise with Operations and Suppliers to react quickly to changing client demands and updated supplier information.
· Track KPIs and report on supply chain’s performance
· Help foster trusting relationships with business partners.
· Evaluate vendor performance according to quality standards and agreed supplier KPIs.
· Familiarity with Supply Chain / Inventory planning / Data Integrity
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse project data, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
· Raising Purchase Orders
· Arranging deliveries/collections as required
· Liaising with other internal teams and all mobile engineers
· Providing materials and equipment prices to Project Teams
· Evaluating supplier quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers.
· Following up with suppliers concerning order status and to communicate delivery information with all departments.
· Provide general administrative support.

· Ensuring you set a culture of excellent customer service ensuring the basics are right every time and lead a team where service is central to good performance
Managing Risk
· Awareness of your operational and regulation risks which may impact on your role
· Responsibility for reporting to your line manager any risk which may impact the business
Managing Health & Safety
· Ensuring you deliver your role within the Compliance framework set.
Essential criteria
· Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
· Computer skills Excellent demonstrable knowledge of Excel (including but not limited to Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP), Outlook, Microsoft Teams.
· Able to communicate well at all levels
· Experience in a fast paced admin role
· Problem Solving.
