Due to the increasing popularity of our Academy, the student population is growing, and we are looking to expand and enhance our remarkable team of teachers to meet the demand of our community.
Park Academy in West London is a Secondary School where we believe that fostering self-worth, engagement, and purpose provides the key to successful outcomes for our students. We support the young people who walk through our doors to learn, reach their potential, and have a positive impact on the local community. Life as a staff member at Park Academy is focused on helping to guide our students towards those goals, and we offer innovative and targeted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) opportunities that reflect both the school’s and your individual needs.
We are currently seeking a skilled Site Assistant to support our current Site Team in maintaining the highest standard of repair, security, and cleanliness of the school.
Working under the direction of the SLT team and the Site Manager, you will need to ensure that the school’s buildings, site, and furnishings are safe, secure, and maintained to Health and Safety standards as defined by the Academy and Health & Safety legislation.
As a Site Assistant, you will also need to ensure the opening and closing of the school buildings, which will be managed on a rotational basis by the Site Manager between yourself and one other Site Assistant, so you must be flexible as hours could change to accommodate the needs of the school.
The position will be based at Park Academy (West London); however, you may be required to support at any of the four sites locally in the West London area.
The school opens at 6.30am and closes at 6.30pm, and you will need to be flexible and cover early and late shifts between these times.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has a minimum of 2 years’ experience in general maintenance of buildings/site, basic DIY/handyman, repair and decorating experience, cleaning, and general porterage experience, and someone who has awareness and understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
If you believe you are the right person for this role and would like to be a part of the team, then it would be great to hear from you!
