Job title: Principal Engineer – Pre-Operations

Salary: Circa £43,000
What you’ll be doing:
1. Responsible for managing members of the asset integration team and delivery of work scopes
2. Scoping and delivering asset integration and pre-operational activities for major site and infrastructure projects
3. Developing integration strategies and through life management plans
4. Liaising with and managing key stakeholders within the project, and end user function
5. Responsible for the integration of new assets and infrastructure into site business management systems
6. Implementing post-handover asset management arrangements
7. Production and validation of working level instructions
8. Deriving and developing operations, maintenance and asset management strategies
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
1. Degree qualified in a STEM subject, or equivalent engineering, maintenance, or operational experience
2. An understanding of Asset Management principles
3. Experience working within asset integration, or pre-operations
4. Significant experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships
5. Experience in managing scopes of work to challenging schedules
6. Experience in the production and validation of working level instructions
Desirable:
1. Experience or exposure of project transitions to operations
2. Basic understanding of asset management
