As a full time salaried Trainee Science Teacher, you can expect to gain experience across years 7-11 (age range 11-16) teaching up to GCSE level throughout your twelve-month programme. You will have access to excellent resources & support throughout your year as an apprentice; including virtual learning environments, in-person training, online webinars, school-based support and more. e-Qualitas are a London-based, DfE accredited Teacher Training Provider, working in partnership with Preston School in Yeovil. Together we are seeking a graduate-trainee Science teacher to begin their school-based teacher training from September 2025. The successful Salaried Trainee Science Teacher will be someone who can meet the below requirements: • Hold a bachelor’s degree in a related subject, 2.2 or better • Right-to-work full-time in the UK; you must have been ordinarily resident in the UK for 3-years. • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for your subject • Hold GCSE’s at a C/4 Grade or above in English Language and Maths (or an equivalent) • The ability to support, challenge and inspire students – encouraging them to be their best • A strong classroom presence to achieve high levels of student engagement This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking begin the journey to gain QTS and embark on a career in teaching.
