Position Overview:
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of projects to budget, schedule and customer requirements. The role will encompass scheduling and assigning work requirements for the project, collaborating with stakeholders across the business ensuring projects are sufficiently resourced, working with the customer and managing expectations and dependencies, tracking and mitigating risks, regular reporting of project progress along with detailed financial tracking. The Project Manager will be required to support continuous improvement and embedding new project management processes.
Indicative Responsibilities Include:
* Create and maintain project plans
* Create and maintain project forecast costs and actuals
* Manage and escalate project related risks and issues, keeping a risk management log, identify appropriate mitigation plan where applicable.
* Regular reporting to Senior management, providing input into portfolio reporting
* Manage and prioritise workload to prevent and minimise impact on projects
* Collaborate with designated individuals/teams to ensure planning and progress of the design, build, test and installation is to customer specification.
* Manage customer expectations from commencement of the project, inclusive of customer kick off meeting and regular project updates
* Act as the first point of contact both internally & externally for issues relating to assigned projects.
* Review and approve customer proposals, ensuring proposals contain correct levels of resourcing, cost and time for the project.
* Provide lessons learnt and identify project risks at the pre-sales phase.
Experience, Education & License Requirements:
* Commercial Awareness
* Demonstrable and applicable PM experience
* Strong financial acumen
* Excellent command of English
* Computer literate in all Microsoft packages
* Prince 2, APM PMQ or APM Agile (min certification)
