The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced S2P Transformation Lead to drive the crucial discovery phase of this program.
You will lead the assessment of current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and build a compelling business case for investment in S2P transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead workshops and interviews with stakeholders across business areas to understand, document, and analyse existing sourcing and buying processes.
Identify key pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process optimisation.
Develop a detailed gap analysis comparing the current state with the desired target state, outlining the steps required to bridge the gap.
Conduct comprehensive financial data analysis and modelling to inform the business case for investment in S2P transformation.
Gather and define both business and technical requirements, supporting decision-making processes related to project scope and prioritisation.
Create detailed process maps and user stories to guide the design of the future S2P solution.
Collaborate effectively with business and technical teams to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and their translation into actionable steps.
Lead stakeholder engagement activities, including workshops, meetings, and discussions, ensuring clear documentation of outputs and next steps.
Present findings, recommendations, and progress updates to the S2P Process Owner and Project Manager.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven expertise in the Source-to-Pay (S2P) lifecycle, encompassing a deep understanding of processes, controls, and best practices.
Solid end-user and technical understanding of S2P tools and systems, including Ariba Guided Buying, Fieldglass, and SAP S4 HANA.
Experience leading large-scale S2P transformation programs from a Business Analyst perspective.
Excellent data analytics and modelling skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret large, complex datasets and translate them into clear reports and insights to drive decision-making.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (including macros), Visio, PowerPoint, and iGrafix.
Strong business analysis skills, including proficiency in process mapping, gap analysis, value stream mapping, requirements gathering, and documentation.
Solid experience leading both discovery and implementation phases of large-scale S2P transformation programs.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to effectively communicate complex S2P concepts and terminology to non-S2P stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to deconstruct complex problems and recommend practical solutions.
Demonstrated leadership qualities, with the ability to take initiative, work independently, and drive business analysis activities effectively.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
Business process improvement certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green Belt).
Understanding of systems integrations between ServiceNow, Ariba, Fieldglass, and SAP S4 HANA.
Technical understanding of ServiceNow.
