Job description
My client is current looking for an experienced Senior IFA Administrator to join their team in central Manchester.
The role
1. Support and provide a full administration service to the Advisors and Head of Wealth Planning in researching the client's needs and developing appropriate recommendations
2. Proactively completing research and analysis of the client case and of the market of solutions
3. Drafting high quality advice suitability recommendations
Other tasks include dealing with
4. Valuations
5. Information gathering
6. Salesforce management
7. AML
8. HNW certificates
9. Produce and collate all the relevant pre-meeting paperwork
10. Prepare and process all new business applications and documentation
11. Ensure that all fees/invoices are checked, sent and chased as required
12. Follow through all business processing to completion, closely monitoring the progression of each case while ensuring the pod and the clients are kept fully informed
13. Trade reconciliation
14. Payments
15. Initial client onboarding
16. Invoices
17. Custodian report data gathering
18. LOAs/chasing information
Experience
19. Good knowledge of HNW and ultra HNW clients and their families and trusts
20. Strong financial planning understanding of markets
21. Should be or be working to level 4 diploma level qualification
22. Excellent administrative skills, with an eye for detail ensuring a high level of accuracy in all areas of work
23. Strong communication
24. Strong understanding of policies, systems and processes
25. Good task management and basic project skills to provide strong coordination
26. Professionalism - self driven development of technical knowledge and qualifications
27. Keeping up to date on technical, legislative/regulatory changes in your respective markets to enable the proposition to develop and evolve
28. Identifying and developing solutions to provide innovative client solutions
29. Bring into the firm ideas and concepts to improve what and how we deliver for clients
