Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 7 Neonatal Practice Facilitator to join a passionate neonatal team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for training, educating, and empowering our neonatal nursing staff to provide the best possible care for their patients. You will develop and deliver educational programs and initiatives to enhance the clinical skills and knowledge of our staff, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care and professional development. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs for neonatal nursing staff. Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to support the professional development of staff. Facilitate the induction and orientation of new staff members. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to identify training needs and develop tailored educational initiatives. Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and standards. Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Maintain accurate records of training and development activities. Participate in clinical practice to maintain and enhance own clinical skills. Empower staff through education and training to deliver exceptional patient care. Act as a clinical support and resource to colleagues. Support the Matron, Ward Manager, and Neonatal Clinical Educator with the identification, planning, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of educational opportunities, programs, and activities for the whole multidisciplinary team (MDT). Requirements: Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration. Significant critical care experience in neonatal nursing, with a strong background in education and training. Recent experience of supporting nursing staff in the NNU Neonatal Life support certificate Strong leadership and organizational abilities – recognised teaching/assessing qualification Passionate about education and professional development.
