As part of our mission to grow our presence in the UK market, we are seeking a talented and creative Content Writer to join our Marketing team.
Role Overview
The Content Writer will play a pivotal role in developing, refining, and delivering compelling content that aligns with Xledger UK’s brand voice, business objectives, and marketing strategies. Working closely with the Content Manager and other team members, you will craft high-quality materials that engage our audiences, drive brand awareness, and generate leads.
This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of writing for different audiences, formats and channels, including web, email, articles, white papers, and blogs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Write and edit high-quality, engaging, and accurate content across various formats, including blog posts, website pages, thought-leadership articles, white papers, newsletters and case studies.
2. Develop SEO-optimised content in collaboration with the SEO executive to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to Xledger’s digital platforms.
3. Upload content to CMS, including MetaData and other SEO elements.
4. Work closely with the Content Manager, marketing team, and other employees to understand content requirements and objectives.
5. Collaborate with subject matter experts within and outside the organisation to produce technical and thought-leadership content tailored to Xledger’s target audiences.
Brand Alignment:
1. Ensure all content is consistent with Xledger’s brand tone, voice, and style guidelines.
2. Adapt messaging for different audience personas, including C-suite executives, financial professionals, and technology leaders.
Research:
1. Keep on top of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer pain points to inform content development.
2. Stay updated on ERP software innovations, cloud technologies, and related topics to enhance the relevance and credibility of the content.
Performance Monitoring:
1. Continuously optimise content based on data and user feedback to maximise engagement and ROI.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Min 2-3 years of proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role, in the B2B SaaS or technology sector.
2. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a strong portfolio of published work.
3. Ability to create content that is both technical and engaging for diverse audiences.
4. Can-do attitude and strong team player.
5. Strong experience with WordPress.
6. Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools such as SEMrush.
7. Strong research skills and attention to detail.
8. Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
9. Knowledge of ERP systems or financial management software, cloud technology, accountancy sector.
10. Familiarity with graphic design tools or an eye for visual storytelling.
11. A degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
