What you'll be doing
So, what’s the job exactly?
1. Street Hub and RAN (Radio Access Network) assets - you’ll remotely monitor Street hub and RAN service and capabilities, ensuring effective maintenance of our automated advertising hubs and remote network access sites. This involves being deeply engaged in the fault-finding and resolution journey, managing Street hub and RAN faults, analysing performance, activating cell sites on RAN sites to enable 4G and 5G network, liaising with suppliers for equipment needed by engineers and addressing any issues that arise promptly to ensure the service remains consistently operational as any occasions of services down result in costs to the business. To ensure active monitoring of assets you’ll produce reports, present to stakeholders and senior managers to give insight to how we are performing operationally. Whilst most importantly working closely with our Customer Engineers and Specialist Engineers who will be in the field fixing faults if unable to be done so remotely.
2. Mobile technical projects and operational support – this may involve working alone or as part of a wider project or support team, owning and managing specific tasks and manager internal and external contacts professionally, ensuring any required action is agreed and implemented.
3. Customer interaction: You’ll understand the customers needs and ensure your work delivers exceptional service to Customers. You’ll own and manage complex customer queries and escalate where required to relevant teams, in line with supplier processes, demonstrating the experience and discretion to take calculated risks. You’ll demonstrate positive customer experience through professional and personal interactions, keeping customers directly informed in an effective, efficient, and timely manner.
4. Testing – you’ll participate in test and implementation exercises using your technical and customer knowledge to validate that all new capability is fit for purpose. You will also take ownership of the production of changes to any new working procedures.

Must haves
5. Advanced Knowledge of Telecom Networks i.e. familiar with 4G and 5G technologies (Mandatory)
6. Basics python Skill set (Mandatory)
7. Be able to work excel to an advance Level (Mandatory)
8. You take ownership for learning new things (Mandatory)
9. Have excellent IT skills, including knowledge and experience of a broad range of applications and packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and the Office 365 suite.
Nice to haves
10. Knowledge of Vendors, Nokia, Huawei, Cisco
11. Basic knowledge of Qlick and Tableau
12. Proficient on a range of service delivery systems such as OCS, One Siebel, ECO X, Sitetracker, Remedy, MEAS, SFS and others appropriate to products.
