Our Tasks:
- Assist the IT Support desk technicians in the provision of first line hardware, software and technical support to all departments.
- Learn and carry out duties and responsibilities in first line support.
- Learn the process to report all incidents or problems to the IT Team leader.
- Maintain record of work undertaken via help desk entries and produce reports when required.
- Learn to maintain an administrative and orderly system for the department.
- Attend training courses and meetings as necessary and ensure course work is kept up to date and on schedule for time deadlines.
- Work effectively with other people from different departments, promoting our EGGER team spirit at all times.
- Carry out any special projects as required by the IT Team Leader.
- Completing coursework in relation to the Information & Communication Technical Standard.
Our Requirements:
- Good standard of education, minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) grade 4 and above, including Maths and English.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Must be competent in the use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Must be well organised, efficient, personable and have a good, confident telephone manner.
- Networking experience preferable
Effective communication skills.
- Meet deadlines and prioritise workloads according to needs of business.
