Are you a Software System Integration Engineer with experience working on the integration of rail systems?

Location: Birmingham or London (2 Days in office)
Salary: (Birmingham £50,937 - £63,687) (London £54,687 - £68,312)
This is an opportunity to work directly for the client on the largest ongoing infrastructure project in the UK.
You will be responsible for overseeing the system software development team, assuring the development process, overseeing the development cycle, completing software audits, and analysing and communicating software data with stakeholders. You will have previous experience assuring software development processes, as well as an understanding of CENELEC standards. You will have used software management tools and have experience in quality assurance and software testing.
Requirements:
1. Experience integrating rail system software
2. Strong understanding of software development methods
3. Experience in software quality assurance
4. A strong understanding of railway standards
5. Experience in defect management
6. Experience using software management tools including but not limited to DOORS, JIRA or Polarion
7. Understanding of CENELEC standards, BS EN 50126, BS EN 50128 and BS EN 50129
Desirable:
1. Understanding of the operational railway
